Everything You Need To Know This Week On New York's Art Scene

Aug 2, 2012 8:26 AM

August has arrived, which means many of New York's gallerists have boarded up their windows and sailed for cooler climes. But there's still much to do, including the Lincoln Center Out of Doors Festival, an Afro-Caribbean dance party at the Brooklyn Museum, and the Les Rogers opening at Half Gallery. Out in the Hamptons? Guild Hall is hosting their annual Clothesline Art Sale, as well as family-friendly fare like a screening of The Wizard of Oz. So click your heels three times, y'all -- there's no place like this week's art roundup.
