It's sort of funny, but our summer nostalgia seems to have gone 'poof!' almost as quickly as the actual, all-too-short season. The best part is that no one cares. Fashion Week reminded us that fall means a more intense social calendar. Everyone's back in the city, just wearing more clothes! Avenue is the perfect example, absorbing the return of nightlife from the East End to the streets of NYC. Bringing in fall, the spot has had bottles popping like crazy over the past few weeks, getting us in the mood to get our fall on. We're so over summer...

Basis Leigh Lezark's presence (assuming she was the only one wearing those kicks that night), Waris and most importantly Olivier (who somehow seems to be able to deign a place receive buzz simply as a function of presence) I'd gather it wasn't a bad event.
