Whether you hate it or live for it, Halloween wrecked havoc on our city this weekend. The safe (and smart) thing to have done would have been to stay locked inside with some candy and your favorite horror film. But loads of crazy be-bopers couldn't resist the urge to get some tricks in this Saturday. Besides the streets being filled with these crazies on the loose (see left), there were more parties to attend than you knew what to do with. Though it would have been best to pick one and stay put (lest you waste your night in your car), here is a list of some of the parties that the GofG'ers were at...
We hope to post more on most of these parties, with photos later on in day. If you got caught in our galleries make sure and tag yourself, there's a good chance no one would recognize you anyway, at least if your costume was noteworthy. Speaking of which, go HERE for a list of our favorite looks.
Stephanie and Jesse Newhouse's UES Halloween Party. Jesse (grandson of Si Newhouse) hosted a party with his new wife Stephanie at his parents apartment at 720 Park Avenue which started off the evening for many socials. Alex McCord and Simon Van Kempen showed up dressed as mummies.
The Jane Hotel/Smile crew threw a big party in a building on 28th street. Attendees included Terry Richardson, Julie Gilhart, Jen Brill, Charlotte Ronson, Scott Lips, Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough. (Invite on left).
