When Your Book Party Gets Crashed By Jonah Hill & Shut Down Early

Casual, right? Today in "What The Cool Kids Are Reading," Feelings: Soft Art, published by Rizzoli. The thematic publication is a conglomeration of contemporary writers, artists, musicians - even YouTube stars! - all waxing poetic on the relationship between art, its viewers, and the emotions that stem from all ends of the exchange. With contributors ranging from Tracey Emin, Yayoi Kusama, and Ryan McGinley to Sarah Nicole Prickett, Yvonne Force Villareal, and Vogue's sex columnist, Karley Sciortino, it's no wonder that last week's book release got the art world attention it deserved. Even pop culture names and faces like Jenna Marbles, Emily Ratajkowski, and Dev Hynes are in the mix.

With a 900-piece food installation of Hostess comfort snacks (Twinkies, Snowballs, Dingdongs) and a soft fuzzy book of feelings in everyone's hands, the NYC launch party at The Apartment by The Line was filled with some of the city's most creative. By the time Jonah Hill arrived (unannounced, we might add), the book bash was gaining enough momentum to break down the elevator and go so far over capacity that it had to be shut down early. Now that's how you release a book.
