The Academy of American Poets presents Poetry and the Creative Mind, a selection of readings by a celebrity panel, followed by a cocktail reception. Readers include Maggie Gyllenhaal, Mia Farrow, Joan Baez, Zadie Smith, and Wynton Marsalis, among others. Poetry and the Creative Mind kicks off National Poetry Month, celebrated in April of each year.
