Pencils of Promise 2nd Annual Holiday Masquerade Ball

Pencils of Promise - a passionate community of individuals collectively creating a nonprofit that builds sustainable schools, partnerships and solutions to enable basic education for underserved children in the developing world - is hosting the 2nd Annual Holiday Masquerade Ball, a celebration of arts and education, bringing the young professional community together to generate awareness and raise funds to benefit education within communities around the world. Festivities will include music from live DJs - DJ Kieren (of BlackFUN) and DJ Vikas Sapra - an interactive photo exhibit by Nick Onken and a silent auction. Further, the night will highlight the Pencils of Promise mission and impact thus far, and celebrate the completion of the second and third schools that the organization has built through the support of more than 2,000 unique contributions. The event is sponsored by Johnny Walker. All proceeds, along with the ticket sales, will go toward building schools of basic education in Africa and Southeast Asia. The long-term impact of these schools will mean basic education for 5,000+ children.
