The Pipes of Christmas brings you the music of Christmas accompanied by a selection of readings taken from the Celtic literature of Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. Featured performers include Andrew Weir from the film Braveheart, the Scottish Country Dance trio Local Hero with Paul Woodiel, Christopher Layer, and Susie Petrov, the Solid Brass ensemble, Scottish harpist Jennifer Port, soprano Maija Lisa Currie, the Kevin Ray Blandford Memorial Pipe Band of Redlands, CA, organist Jeff Rickard, single malt whisky \"legend\" Evan Cattanach, narrator Susan Porterfield Currie and the St. Peter\'s Herald Trumpets. The Honorary Chairman for the 2009 production is stage and screen star Alan Cumming. Proceeds from the concert fund Celtic music scholarships.
