Jasper James, the electrifying, gender-bending Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter, will release her first solo album titled Vibrator January 28, 2009. The album, which was released this month on iTunes, will be publicly released in New York at Cain Luxe on with a London release following on February 4.
Jasper James is a brilliant and unforgettable performer in New York City’s live music scene, frequently packing well-known area clubs such as Sputnik (in conjunction with CMJ), CBGB’s gallery, Lenox Lounge, Snitch, Bowery Ballroom, Living Room, R&R and Crobar. Most recently she opened for Debbie Harry in New York and will be performing at New York Fashion Week in February.
