Summer is finally heating up, and so are the exciting dining opportunities to be found all over the city. With that in mind, I wanted to inform that there is still availability at the latest Zagat Presents event, Pigging Out in Public. Executive chef Brad Farmerie (of Public) will prepare a 5-course feast in the private, Monday Room at Public. The meal will debut new dishes like pig liver crème caramel with roasted grapes and crispy bacon and black pudding with poached egg, ginger roast cherry tomatoes and curried hollandaise. Farmeire has also paired each dish with wines.
The event is on July 22 at the Monday Room (at Public) — 210 Elizabeth Street (between Prince and Spring Streets). For more information on this and other events, check out www.ZAGAT.com/zagatpresents The event costs $90 for 5-courses and wine pairings; tax and tip not included.
