Gin and Sonic

Earlier this year, Bulldog Gin introduced a monthly party called Gin & Sonic where The All England Club blasts motherland beats from The Who to M.I.A. The concept deliver the best of London to New York: music and gin. These parties, promoted by Cody Pruitt, are held on the last Thursday of the month at Fontana’s in the LES. The next one is March 26th and with many re-assessing their flagrant drinking budgets, it’s worth adding onto the old social calendar. Throughout the night, drink specials on Bulldog Gin are available with a bonus stimulus package randomly announced: 30 minutes of free London Lemonades (Bulldog and Lemonade). There’s no list, so expect to find drama elsewhere. If good music and top-quality alcohol equal a good night out, definitely come check this party out. The night’s weapon of choice, Bulldog, is a highly mixable gin with a well-balanced hint of juniper as well as a blend of 12 botanicals. It also has very cool packaging. As for the venue, Fontana’s has been part of the downtown scene for ages with a live space downstairs, pub environment in the front and more active open space in the back. With a good venue, a good cocktail deal and good music, it’s a perfect time to build up a taste for gin especially since Bulldog’s making it real fun and real easy.
