On May 16, 2009 Stoked Mentoring, the action sports non-profit organization will host its spring fundraiser, “Stoked on Spring†at the Open House Gallery in New York City.
Hosted by Nicola Vassell of Deitch Projects and Mazdack Rassi of Milk Studios, Stoked on Spring will include 125 works of art and one-of-a-kind items in a silent auction format. In addition, there will be 15 select, high-end pieces of art sold during a live auction alongside with 10 Stoked Scholarships. A VIP champagne reception will be held from 6-8pm, where guests will be provided with an opportunity to learn more about Stoked Mentoring in an intimate setting. VIP entry also includes an exclusive gift bag and first access to preview the art. The event will be open to the public from 7-10pm and will include two celebrity hosts, an honorary chair, an open-bar and a DJ.
