| Description |
Old, young, crazy, sane, ghoulish, gorgeous—everyone's encouraged to join in on of the city's oldest and finest and wildest Halloween traditions, The Halloween Parade, giving you yet another chance to wave your freak flag loud and proud. As usual, there will be puppets of all shapes and sizes (volunteers are needed, especially those with puppet experience), music of every variety and plenty of dancers to ogle. To be a part of the parade, simply line up on Sixth Avenue between Spring and Canal Sreets before 8:30 p.m. For those who just want to bear witness to the debauchery before continuing on their Halloween journey, the parade can be viewed from the sidewalks on Sixth Avenue, from Spring Street up to 21st Street.
