The new fantastical clothing line, ‘Lolli Popitt,’ who recently launched their collection will be having their second fashion show.
With help from renowned event producer, Steve Leff of LCC Productions, members of the press, buyers, fashionistas, friends and family are invited into 'Lolli Land,' the tastefully provocative fantasy world created by designers, Aurora and Elle.
As the girls have expressed, they pay a lot of attention to the magic of childhood dress-up and create such an outlet in the realm of high fashion & sophistication. With this in mind, they work with vintage fabric & era trends adorned with ribbon, feathers & lace. Their signature, ‘Cupcake Dresses,’ are undeniably a popular hit. These impeccably detailed poufy dresses of colorful tulle are sexy & fun. Another piece that has made a statement is an Alice in Wonderland inspired frock paired with ‘Dorothy Heels,’ high heels drenched in glitter!
As usual, the runway’s eye candy will be unique. These designers not only feature regular models (Models = dubbed ‘dolls’ by Aurora & Elle) but also include entertainment such as dancers and rather “flamboyant’ dolls, as their last show opened with a drag queen performance. They use props. One 'doll' nonchalantly tossed a plastic baby while wearing one of Lolli Popitt’s satirical ‘Housewife’ dresses clad with vintage apron at the last show. We can also guarantee a catwalk performance by Lola the dog in LP ensemble.
Other of the night’s highlights will be cupcakes & body painting. This will be an evening not to be missed!
