Babcock Galleries is pleased to present a major exhibition of paintings by acclaimed artist and devoted protector of the natural environment, Alan Gussow (1931 - 1997). This show opens in conjunction with the release of the first monograph on Gussow's work, "Alan Gussow: A Painter's Nature."
The gallery reception will be a highlight of Gallery Night on 57th Street. Martica Sawin, art historian and author of Gussow's monograph, will be present to sign copies of the book.
