The Island School's 10th Anniversary Benefit

Lighting master Bentley Meeker will host a special eco-friendly, world-awareness event to celebrate The Island School’s 10th anniversary. Cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and an “green” buffet will be served to al supporters, alumni, students and teachers. Committed to education for sustainability and changing the way people view the world’s resources, The Island School offers lessons that have been adapted to living more responsibly in the big city and around the United States. An eco-friendly and local menu donated by Great Performances, and recycled décor by 360 Designs. A silent auction will feature paintings of Lighthouse Beach, vacation getaways on Eleuthera, SCUBA with Chris Maxey, and several other items. All funds raised will go to The Island School scholarships for New York area students and teachers.
