During the weekend of October 16th through October 18th, The New Yorker presents its tenth annual Festival, a three-day series of events that brings together some of the world’s most talented and distinguished people in the fields of literature, art, film, music, humor, business, food, politics, design, and science.
Friday evening kicks off the Festival with Fiction Night, featuring paired readings by New Yorker fiction writers including Colson Whitehead, Junot DÃaz, and Mary Gaitskill. Plus, five New Yorker writers will share anecdotes about life at the magazine, and a special concert will showcase some of the most exciting new artists from the Brooklyn music scene.
A portion of the ticket proceeds from this year’s Festival will be donated to Harlem Children’s Zone, which offers a holistic network of education, social services, and community-building programs to children and families in Harlem.
