WHAT:
LIVES NYC is an exclusive charity event gathering world renowned artists and celebrities to support the Emilie Humanitary Foundation’s global efforts to provide free surgical care to children.
Beginning at 9pm, this red carpet fundraiser that brings together the worlds of fashion, music, cinema and society will include a silent auction, award winning artist performances, art exhibition and music.
International artist and World Music Award winner Tarkan will perform at the benefit, hosted by Fashion TV and Zink Magazine, and the beat of Jacques Dumas and The Big Bounce will create a spectacular showcase, transforming RdV luxury lounge into a high-energy venue for a good cause.
The proceeds from each ticket sold will go directly to saving the life of a child. The objective is to raise $250,000 to fund the building of 2 operating rooms in order to operate on and save the lives of 1,000 children.

WHY:
9.7 million children on the planet die every year (that’s 1 every 3 seconds); today 5,500 children will die from lack of surgery. In developing countries, a surgery costs $250 and can save a life.
EMILIE HUMANITARY is a 501(c)3 non-profit medical organization founded by Dr David Luu, Cardiac Surgeon, in memory of EMILIE. Since 2001, EMILIE HUMANITARY has provided free surgical care to children, educated medical teams, supplied equipment, supplies and essential medicines and has created
prevention programs to support local health systems in Cambodia, Colombia and Burkina Faso; the organization’s reach will soon expand to Haiti, Dominican Republic and Bangladesh. With actual medical costs being so much lower than in the USA, a $250 donation can pay for an entire surgical procedure…and save a life!
100% of all money raised goes directly to mission costs, providing surgical care to children in areas of greatest need.
