In this hands-on educational seminar class, spirits masters, The Cocktail Guru, Jonathan Pogash & Bombay Sapphire master mixologist, James Moreland will share the history and science of botanical-based spirits.
Since so many (like gin, absinthe, bitters, vermouth, etc.) are easily impacted by just a small addition of plants, herbs and spices - together Jonathan and James will lead participants to discover the subtle nature of these flavors.
There will be a tasting of a variety of botanical-rich spirits including gin, vodka, liqueurs, and vermouth. Participants will have the chance to mix-up several cocktails that heighten botanical elements, all-by using their favorite botanical-forward spirits - like Bombay Sapphire gin and Lucid absinthe.
