Boys' Towns of Italy "Ball of the Year"

The Sixty-fifth annual Boys’ Towns of Italy ’Ball of the Year.’ Founded in 1945 by Monsignor John Patrick Carroll-Abbing, BTOI is an organization committed to aiding underprivileged children from around the world. They come from 14 war-ravaged nations, and have fled thousands of miles to the relative safety of a Boys’ Town. This year’s honorees include philanthropist Francesca Braschi Gumina, Conair executive Lee Rizzuto, Jr. and Anthony Maltese, Jr. textile industrialist. Mark Simone is the Master of Ceremonies and there will be a special performance by this year’s ’Celebrity of the Year’ Lainie Kazan.
