’Today’ co-host Kathie Lee Gifford, Emmy and Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth, and fashion designer Heather Thomson will receive City of Hope’s most prestigious honor, The Spirit of Life Award, for their philanthropic and business achievements. Hosted by City of Hope’s East End Chapter/Jeanne Kay League, the ’Woman of the Year’ luncheon will benefit lifesaving research, treatment and education programs at City of Hope, one of the nation’s leading cancer research and treatment centers.
Presenters for Kathie Lee Gifford, Kristin Chenoweth and Heather Thomson respectively will be ’Today’s’ co-host Hoda Kotb, Emmy Award winner actor Sean Hayes from ’Will & Grace’ and singer Kelly Rowland of the former chart-topping band Destiny’s Child. The ’Woman of the Year’ luncheon will feature a fashion show from Yummie Tummie by Heather Thomson, which is presented by Rue La La.
