DFAC provides single professionals with opportunities to find a significant other through social mixers and dating events, which are held across the New York metropolitan area. Different from other dating companies, DFAC rallies their events around philanthropic causes and charities. By utilizing socially responsible business practices, DFAC is able to match good-hearted people together with similar ideas, interest, and principles, whether it is helping the poor, preserving the environment, providing food for the hungry, or other noble causes.
On April 3, 2010 at 10:00 AM, Dating for a Cause (DFAC) is working with NYC Parks to host their first volunteer event at Seward Park; located at the corner of Essex Street and Canal Street. This allows singles to mingle in a more comfortable and relaxed environment, at the same time help restore the beauty of one of NYC’s many parks. The day ends with an after party, which will take place at Stay Lounge, starting at 7:00 PM. Proceeds from these events will go to The Conversation Fund.
