The Grand Central Partnership will host their annual neighborhood restaurant showcase Grand Gourmet - The Flavor of Midtown® on Thursday, April 29th, 2010 from 7 PM - 9:30 PM in Grand Central Terminal's Vanderbilt Hall (East 42nd Street at Park Ave.) Net proceeds from the event will benefit the Grand Central Neighborhood Social Services Corporation, the largest not-for-profit homeless services provider in New York City.
Grand Gourmet guests will have a chance to sample delicious dishes and beverages from more than 30 of Midtown Manhattan's finest restaurants. Participating restaurants include: Pera Mediterranean Brasserie, Ammos Estiatorio, Aretsky’s Patroon, At Vermilion, Benjamin Steakhouse, Bice Ristorante, Bobby Van’s Steakhouse, Bookmarks, Café Centro, Café Spice, The Campbell Apartment, The Capital Grille, Charlie Palmer’s Métrazur, Chipotle, Commodore Grill at the Grand Hyatt New York, Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant, Joe The Art of Coffee, Kellari Taverna, La Fonda Del Sol, The Long Room, Magnolia Baking Company, Michael Jordan’s The Steak House NYC, Murray’s Cheese Shop, Naples 45, Nios, O'Casey's, The Palm Too, The Palm West, Pershing Square, Riingo, Ruby Foo’s Times Square, silverleaf tavern at the 70 Park Avenue Hotel, St. Andrew’s, Triomphe, and The Wheeltapper Pub.
First conceived and produced by the Grand Central Partnership in 2000, Grand Gourmet annually draws nearly 1,000 guests, including elected officials, business and community leaders, neighborhood stakeholders, local residents and culinary enthusiasts, for an evening celebrating the very best the Grand Central neighborhood has to offer.
