JFK Rotary Club "5K Runway Run"

Rotarians from Queens, N.Y. close a portion of JFK Int’l Airport Runway for a good cause and fun for the whole family, you’re invited to join them! It is a very unique race since runners actually run on the longest Runway at JFK which is almost 14,000 feet, although only a short portion of the main runway is used for the race. The funds raised are used to assist many organizations, mostly dealing with children. 5K (3.2 miles) course on the runway of JFK Airport - Starts at 9:00am sharp. Eligibility: Open to all runners, all age groups ~ walkers welcomed - Includes fruit, water, and free t-shirt.
