We invite you to join us for an evening of dining, music and art. Located in a loft in Williamsburg, your experience will include a five course tasting dinner, a photographic exhibit and live Brasilian music. All proceeds will be benefitting Doctors Without Borders. A 1999 Nobel Peace Prize recipient, in existence since 1971, Doctors Without Borders has been providing access to medical resources, to areas of the world where not readily available.

Arden Lewis - As a graduate of The French Culinary Institute in NYC, Brooklyn\\Long Island native, Arden Lewis has cooked in various restaurants in NYC, like Public and Bar Blanc, since 2006. He also has been involved in other culinary areas such as food production in TV\\film, and catering. He is influenced by many cultures, including his West Indian heritage. His food showcases his passion for discovering new flavors and ingredients, and food cultures around the world. Arden is currently working at Maialino in the Grammercy Park Hotel.
Daniel P. Eiras, MD, MPH - A Brazilian-American internal medicine physician at NYU Medical Center in New York City, Daniel has been an avid photographer for the past 10 years, primarily focusing on travel and nature photography. His portfolio of work includes thousands of photographs representing images from five continents and over thirty countries. In the past four years, Daniel has worked to combine his interests in medicine and photography through photographic documentaries of medical and public health projects in Belize and Mozambique. Daniel currently shoots with a Panasonic Lumix GF-1. http://www.eirasphotography.com/
Veronica Nunes - A Brasilian guitarist and singer from Rio de Janeiro, Veronica came to New York to be inspired and share her music with the city. She plays the guitar and cavaquinho since 2000 and she has been performing live since 2001 in many diferent venues in Rio de Janeiro and New York City. Her music pays homage to the classical brasilian sounds of samba, choro, bossa nova, soul and MPB. She brings a fresh interpretation to various songs of many popular Brasilian artists. Aside from her solo carer, she was a backing vocalist for ”˜Monte Zion’, a well known reggae band in Brasil, from 2001 untill 2005. http://www.theniceness.com/ve/
