Back2School: 2nd Annual Givology Benefit for Education at Marquee
We are an online giving marketplace for education that supports student scholarships and grassroots education projects in the developing worlds. All proceeds from the event will be aiding Givology’s efforts to provide quality education to underprivileged students and communities. This year promises to top the last, as we will be offering a 3-hour Open Bar from 8-11 PM, a fantastic silent auction prizes, and unbelievable music by 2 talented DJs - separately on the top and bottom floors. We hope to see you dance the night away and continue to support equitable educational opportunities around the developing world.

* Marquee Nightclub (289 Tenth Ave., at 26th St. NYC), 8 - 11 PM
* 3 hour OPEN BAR with alcohol sponsored by many vendors including world's first sparkling liqueur from Nuvo and Ty Ku's award winning Asian wines
* Silent auction Items donated from premier retail, restaurant, and recreation establishments
* General Admission: $60, purchase before noon on August 7th
* At the door: $75
* VIP: Prices below. Ticket includes private VIP area and table service
- $100: Sponsor 50 children in a nutritious lunch program in rural Kenya for 1 month
- $150: Provide training for teachers in Gansu, China to help over 30 students
- $250: Help create after-school programs for 60 children in Bihar, India
- $500: Support refurbishing of a 400-student primary school in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

As a P2P community, Givology partners with NGOs and schools throughout the world and bridges the gap between Internet donors and students and villages in need.
Our philosophy is to build lasting sponsor-student relationships and foster cross-cultural communication. Givology not only connects Internet donors to meaningful causes, but also allows them to proactively track the impact of their contribution.
Through our online messaging and blogging system, donors can send letters of support to students, as well as receive updates on scholarship recipients, collected by our field partners and fellows on a quarterly basis.
For as little as $5, with 100 percent of the grant going directly to students, you can send a student to school or even support an entire village’s education project. Givology democratizes philanthropy by introducing choice, transparency, and information sharing in education philanthropy.
