CDI Holiday Party and Auction Benefit

Join Community Development International (CDI) for a holiday party and unique gift exchange and auction benefit on December 20th at the Village Pourhouse and be ready for a fun surprise!!! December 20th is the International Day of Human Solidarity so be ready to show some! Happy Hour specials are from 6 - 8 pm - and there will be many buy one get one free and half off drink specials!! Entrance is just $20 and ALL proceeds will go to actual Medical Project expenses for CDI's January Medical / Humanitarian trip to Haiti!! CDI will be hosting a fun and somewhat different holiday party at The Village Pourhouse in order to raise funds for a medical and humanitarian trip to Haiti in February 2011!! NOT ONLY will there be plenty of half price and buy one get one free drink specials but we will also have a unique gift exchange. We ask that everyone bring a wrapped "gift" of any kind - this can be any item bought or from home that you think someone else may like, laugh at, find useful, etc.. No need to get extravagant! Anything will do! We will also be collecting donations of hygienic supplies for the February trip such as deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes, female hygiene products, soap, etc etc... These items are in high need in the particular area where we will be working. So, come meet some new people (we don't bite and our moms say we're really cool too) spend a couple bucks for a good cause, go home with a sweet gift (maybe :) ) and spread that NYC holiday cheer!!!
