Description
On Wednesday, December 1st, The Jackson Square Alliance (JSA) and TD Bank will host The Jackson Square Holiday Park Lighting ceremony in NYC. Jackson Square Park will unveil the new holiday lighting decorations to the public in an effort to raise money for the park's gentrification and improvement program. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., guests will be treated to an evening of holiday carols by the Youth Pride Chorus and food and beverages courtesy of local restaurants. This year's unique decorations will consist of illustrious festive green color lighting throughout the park courtesy of TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank®. Created by renowned decorator and event planner Rene Hofstede of Mille Fiori Flowers & Event Design, Ltd., the décor pays homage to the community's commitment to improving the well being of the park and surrounding area. Built in 1811, Jackson Square Park, located on the corner of Horatio Street and Greenwich Avenue, has remained a main attraction in Greenwich Village, serving as a community staple.
