The theme of the 2010 Young Friends Benefit will be ’Building New York History; Celebrating famous New York buildings from past to present.’ As the New-York Historical Society is undergoing a massive renovation until November of 2011, it seems all the more appropriate that we explore the importance and history of landmark renovations. Proceeds from this event will support the conservation of the New- York Historical Society’s collection of prints and photographs.
