Brooklyn Museum's First Satyurday Dance Party: The Factory 2010

Warhol enthusiasts and Brooklynites alike will party in true Warholian style as they channel the spirit of his studio in a modern-day hang-out spot for the creative set. Brooklyn DJ crew The Ahficionados will crank out some dub beats, spinning '80s pop, rock, and hip-hop from the music of Warhol's friends: David Bowie, Debbie Harry, and Diana Ross. And of course, it wouldn't be a true salute to The Factory if there weren't some reference to "15 minutes of fame." In that respect, party goers can pose for portraits, tweet from the event, and even be interviewed on camera. So, grab your best Ziggy Stardust get-up and head out to the Brooklyn Museum—we have a feeling that somewhere, Andy's watching.
