The REACH program has grown from 600+ to 3,000+ students over the last three years and the number of AP exams passed at REACH schools has outpaced national increases by 200% and New York State by nearly 300%. Since launching in late 2007, REACH has principally been funded by the Pershing Square Foundation and supported by many others in the hedge fund community. Yet, with continued rapid growth trajectories, REACH still has thousands of NYC students on our wait list and, as such, raises critical funds through events like the spa fundraiser to grow the number of students we can take on. The average cost per student is just over $250, so VIP tickets at $500 go towards supporting 2 students for an entire school year!
