One of the greatest living humanitarians, known by many as the Hugging Saint. Amma has raised over forty eight million dollars to provide food for the hungry, homes for the homeless and hugs for the lonely. She has also provided hope and courage to many survivors of Katrina and given them the strength to move forward and carry on.
