The evening will begin at 8:00PM with a champagne reception at Dalva Brothers Gallery on 77th Street between Madison and Park. Dalva Brothers Gallery (now in its third generation of ownership) is housed in an elegant townhouse and specializes in 18th century French decorative arts. Guests will be able to sip champagne and view up close museum quality pieces, some of which have royal provenance and belonged to notable figures such as Marie-Antoinette and Madame de Pompadour.
At 9:00PM, following the champagne reception, the main benefit will be held nearby in the home of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, the former Payne Whitney Mansion on Fifth Avenue between 78th and 79th. The event will be on the second floor ballroom level with French doors overlooking the greenery of Central Park and will feature a silent auction, DJ, cocktails, champagne, hors d’oeuvres and dessert. It promises to be a magical evening.
