Description 
President of the United States Bill Clinton and former Chairman and CEO of KeySpan Corporation, Robert Catell, will be honored at the Annual Services for the UnderServed Gala, ’Celebrating Independence\". Proceeds from the event will benefit Services for the Underserved, which provides housing and supportive services to over 4,000 New Yorkers with diverse special needs and multiple challenges, enabling them to live with dignity in their communities, direct their own lives, and attain personal fulfillment. Tickets begin at $500. President Clinton will accept a Humanitarian Award via video message. The event begins at 6:30 PM with cocktails, followed by dinner, dancing, entertainment and a silent auction. The evening will be hosted by Harry Smith of CBS ’The Early Show.’ Music will be provided by Mary Wilson of The Supremes. Highlights of the silent auction include vacation packages, jewelry selections and tickets to an event with President Clinton, including a photo opportunity. Honorary Co-chairs of the event are United States Senator Charles Schumer, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr., Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, Deputy Mayor Linda Gibbs, Commissioner Robert Doar of the NYC Human Resources Administration, Commissioner Rafael Cestero of Housing Preservation and Development, Commissioner Robert V. Hess of the Department of Homeless Services, and Anthony Drexel Duke.
