Please join us for an intimate evening with Baaba Maal to discuss the issues facing Africa today. Featuring Baaba Maal of Senegal with a special performance by Bajah + The Dry Eye Crew of Sierra Leone.
All proceeds will go to support the work of the Urban Zen Foundation and its partnership with the Trust for Indigenous Culture and Health in Kenya.
Your support will enable TICAH to host body mapping workshops and other therapeutic artistic workshops and exhibitions; provide training to HIV-positive support groups on herbal medicine, organic gardens, and household health; design and distribute educational materials on positive sexuality; advocate for "Positive Living" as a frame for all AIDS programs and policies; and encourage support for indigenous medicine, traditional elders, and efforts to revive rituals and healing practices.
