City Parks Foundation is pleased to announce the SummerStage Gala, a special fundraising event held at Rumsey Playfield on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of SummerStage (Raindate: Wednesday, June 9, 2010), presented in association with Michael Dorf Presents and City Winery.
For this special anniversary season, the SummerStage Gala will feature the timeless music of Simon & Garfunkel --two musicians closely associated with Central Park -- as performed by an eclectic group of well established musical legends and up and coming stars. 30 artists will pair up to perform 15 classic duets from Simon & Garfunkel’s beloved archive of songs. The performance component of the gala is co-produced by Michael Dorf, who has successfully produced a series of similar tribute concerts at Carnegie Hall over the past decade.

TICKET LEVELS: 6:00 p.m. - Private VIP cocktail reception, followed by dinner and premiere and preferred concert seating / Benefit tables range from $15,000 - $25,000
7:00 p.m. - Light fare and reserved concert seating / Tables range from $1,000 - $1,500
8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. - Concert / Bleacher concert seats are $69 (doors open at 7 p.m.)
