mizu new york and NY Fresh Connections — a non-profit organization aiming to inspire a sense of civic duty in the community — announces HAIRraising at mizu new york salon — an all-day Cut & Blowdry-a-Thon and cocktail party, to benefit the Children's Hospital Boston on Monday, June 28th from 8am to 10pm. The haircuts and blowdries will commence at 8pm and the cocktail party will be from 6-10pm. mizu new york is proud to partner with Fresh Connections for a day of charitable haircuts and blowdries in support of the nation-wide HAIRraising initiative to raise funds and awareness for the Children’s Hospital Boston. The event will culminate in a HAIRraising after party. An open bar will feature TY KU’s award-winning Asian wines and spirits, and mixers by BluePrintCleanse including an exclusive Fresh Connections signature Pineapple Sake cocktail. The after party will provide hors ’d oeuvres, music and include a silent auction. 100% of proceeds from this event will directly benefit Children’s Hospital Boston. Fresh Connections is known for its charitable and innovative social events, and mizu new york is excited to merge with them and the mission of HAIRraising with New York’s stylish and compassionate philanthropists. mizu new york will offer $65 haircuts and $35 blowdries from top industry stylists during the allotted hours. mizu owner Vaughn Acord along with celebrity stylist Dwight Miller will be special guest cutters for the day.
