Proceeds from the show will allow 12 students to attend an intensive week-long photography camp in Syracuse this summer, all expenses paid. In addition, NYC Salt Student Ruben Ramirez has been awarded a prestigious partial scholarship to study global leadership in Prague, Czech Republic this July.
NYC Salt is a nonprofit 501c3 photography program founded by photographers whose mission it is to use digital technology to engage inner-city teenagers in NYC through photography classes & keep them off the streets, inspire them through the creative job market & college visits, and empower them by wakening hidden talent showing them how to use their voices to contribute to NYC culture.
