Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to be a rock star? This is your chance! (And no, you don't need to know how to play an instrument.)
Come to Urban Girl Squad's (www.urbangirlsquad.com) Rock Band event where you'll get a mini-lesson on the bass, guitar, or drums from experienced teachers. After a song-writing workshop where you and your new band will write your anthem, you'll rock out on bass, guitar, drums, or vocals to it!
Whether the closest you've come to touching an instrument is Guitar Hero or you're a singer wondering what it would be like to play drums, this event is for you. The teachers at Willie Mae Rock Camp (www.williemaerockcamp.org) will show you the fastest way to get started playing music. You don't need any music experience at all - we'll teach you everything you need to know to play! This is a safe place to try something new.
