Pergolesi’s works for the Lenten season, both the celebrated and the recently discovered. The two Salve Regina settings attributed to the composer, the F minor for alto and A minor for soprano, will be heard along with arias from the oratorio La Morte di San Giuseppe (The Death of St. Joseph). The famous duet setting of the Stabat Mater, considered to be his final composition, will close this Palm Sunday program.
