140Sweets Benefitting Autism Speaks

With the desire to change the world, one cupcake at a time, the three 140Sweets founders — Anna O’Brien, Joey Pasion M.D., and Sara Wingert — began holding sweet dessert-driven events in order to raise money for charities that are close to their heart. Autism now affects 1 in 110 children — 1 in 70 boys. Autism Speaks is dedicated to funding research, raising awareness and advocating for the needs of families and individuals who are struggling with autism. The goal for this event is to exceed the $1,100 that was raised for the American Cancer Society at 140Sweets’s launch event last year.
