The FRIENDS Committee of Inner-City Scholarship Fund (ICSF), the city’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to providing tuition assistance for underprivileged students. His Excellency, The Most Reverend Timothy M. Dolan, Archbishop of New York, will join the more than 400 people expected to attend this year’s black tie Gala, chaired by Jimmy Lee, Vice Chairman, JPMorgan Chase and his wife Beth.
Also expected to attend are Gala Co-Chairs Steve and Christine Schwarzman, as well as Mrs. Wellington T. Mara. News 4 New York’s David Ushery will emcee this upbeat spring party, which includes a quick-script, pre-dinner program showcasing talented students, followed by dancing.
Inner-City Scholarship Fund supports more than 35,000 students (90% minority and 33% non-Catholic) in 105 inner-city Catholic schools in Manhattan, the Bronx and Staten Island. 99% percent of ICSF high school seniors graduate and 96% go on to college.
