Make those dreams a reality by attending the New York Junior League (NYJL)’s second annual ’Babes, Bags & Bubbles’ Handbag Auction, to be held on Thursday, May 6, 2010.
Upon entering the New York Junior League Headquarters for Training and Leadership on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, NYJL volunteers and the fashionable public will be invited to bid on more than 100 designer handbags and buy Helen Ficalora charms, while socializing with friends, sipping bubbly from Domaine Carneros by Taittinger and enjoying delicious snacks from Bobo Restaurant.
While this decadent girls’ night out with a twist will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., VIP ticketholders will be granted access at 6 p.m. for the first opportunity to make an immediate closing bid on selected handbags. All VIP winning bids include complimentary delivery of all purchases made during the evening, as well as a special gift bag.
At this year’s event our guests will bid on new, celebrity donated/signed and gently worn handbags from designers and celebrities including Anne Archer, Anya Hindmarch, Balenciaga, Betsy Bloomingdale, Bonnie Hunt, Carly Simon, Chanel, Christina Applegate, Coach, Cole Haan, Donna Karan, DKNY, Dolce & Gabbana, Ferragamo, Furla, Hermes, Horse and Nail, Gucci, JCrew, Jaclyn Smith, Judith Leiber, Katherine Kwei, Kate Spade, Kooba, Kotur, Lambertson Truex, Lauren Bacall, Lauren Merkin, Lilly Pulitzer, Rene Russo, Longchamps, Lulu Guinness, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Milly, Miu Miu, MZ Wallace, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Tinsley Mortimer, Tory Burch, Yves St Laurent and many more.
Proceeds will benefit the NYJL’s Women’s Cancer Prevention program.
