NYAGV Hosts "Current Events and Grassroots Activism", A Conversation with Chris Hayes, Washington Editor of The Nation Magazine

We hope that you will be able to join New Yorkers Against Gun Violence on Wednesday, May 26 from 6-8pm for a conversation with Chris Hayes, Washington Editor of The Nation. All benefit proceeds will go to New Yorkers Against Gun Violence. The event is being held in a beautiful space on the 50th Floor of the former Citigroup Building. In the wake of recent major developments in this country ranging from overhauling of the health care system to the growth of anti-government militia groups, Chris Hayes will provide a unique perspective and insight on today's current events. Chris will be introduced by Richard M. Aborn, NYAGV Board Member and President of the Citizens Crime Commission of New York City. Chris Hayes is The Nation's Washington, DC Editor. Chris is a frequent guest on MSNBC shows 'Countdown with Keith Olbermann' and 'The Rachel Maddow Show'. His essays, articles and reviews have appeared in The New York Times Magazine, The Nation,The American Prospect, The New Republic, The Washington Monthly, The Guardian and The Chicago Reader.
