This Saturday, The Epicurean Society of the Senses created by Experential Event Designers, Adam Aleksander & Brian Quinn are throwing ’Epic Prom’, a bona fide 1950s-themed dance in an abandoned Catholic school in Williamsburg (exact location to be announced the morning of, complete with school-bus transportation, a soul-train grand march and even lunch ladies. The night kicks off with a four-course meal created by Theo Peck and Nick Suarez of The Food Experiments, which will feature twists on nostalgic favorites like chicken confit ’Mac 'n' Cheese’ and pulled pork sloppy joes. For those needing a little liquid courage before dancing, Hendrick's Gin and bourbon cocktails will be on hand, mixed by Cervantes of Little Branch and Milk and Honey. As for entertainment, the Harlem James Gang will provide the tunes at first, with a Casey Kasem-style DJ stepping in to make sure the night keeps swinging -Be careful of the roaming nuns who will be spanking guests with yardsticks.
