About Only Hearts
What began as a lingerie line, soon after trademarked as inner-outerwear, has evolved into a full collection of lovely body-conscious tops and travel friendly, versatile dresses, including the original genre-defining intimates that form the cœur of Only Hearts. If the underwear as outerwear trends brings to mind Madonna in a cone bra, think again. Only Hearts founder, Helena Stuart, prescribes a polished take on the lingerie look that is all about layering. She has been artfully revealing her bra straps since opening her Upper West Side boutique in the late 70’s. Now working as a team with her daughter Kaya, both born and bred New Yorkers, they have always felt strongly about keeping their hearts at home; 99% of the line is made in New York City since it’s inception in 1978.
