The New York Women’s Foundation 16th Annual Neighborhood Dinner

The New York Women’s Foundation’s Annual Neighborhood Dinner recognizes outstanding women leaders who are changing the world and acting on behalf of their communities. Each year, the dinner is held in a different borough. This year’s dinner will be held in Manhattan’s Washington Heights neighborhood and will honor Broadway Housing Communities Executive Director Ellen Baxter, Harlem Lanes Co-founders Sharon Joseph and Gail Richards and The Brotherhood/SisterSol. The Dominican Women’s Development Center Executive Director Rosita Romero will give the keynote speech and Deputy Borough President Rosemonde Pierre-Louis will emcee the event. More than 200 guests, including community-based organizations, corporations and government officials, will attend to enjoy music by Dee Ramey & Jazz Fever Band and food catered by five women-owned local restaurants.
