Need some "Food for Thought?" Approximately 3.7 million New York City adults cannot read beyond the 5th grade level. To help battle adult illiteracy, the women of wowOwow have joined forces with bestselling authors to support Literacy Partners, New York's only accredited adult literacy program.
This year, the four-part Food for Thought series begins with wowOwow founder and columnist Liz Smith hosting an intimate Q&A with Lauren Weisberger, author of The Devil Wears Prada and the newly released Last Night at Chateau Marmont.
Each year, Literacy Partners helps approximately 2000 adult New Yorkers and their families by providing free, quality education. Please support Literacy Partners by attending this or the following luncheon events, all being held at midtown's famed Le Cirque.
