Playdate, one-of-a-kind custom made bicycles made from vintage refurnished parts are the hippest and most environmentally friendly way to get around town. Created collaboratively by John Wolfington of playworkgroup and nightlife fixture, Andre Gonzales to be the understatedly cool way to get around. Playdate bikes feature unique designs, retro-fitted to taste using recycled refurbished parts. Additionally, as part of playworkgroup’s continued commitment to the local NYC community, a portion of proceeds from each bike will benefit an after school learning program. Playdate will teach inner city kids how to make unique Playdate bikes. This charitable program was created and is run by Sean Lyon, one of playdate’s mechanics. Each bike comes with a custom music mix.
