On Tuesday, October 19th, Strawberrys Sports Grill in Douglaston, Queens will be donating 10% of all lunch, dinner and drink proceeds to Tuesdays Children, a non-profit family service organization that has made a long-term commitment to every individual who was directly impacted by the events of September 11, 2001 and other instances of terrorism around the globe. Strawberrys Sports Grill is supporting the efforts of good friend (and plumber) Jim Giaccone who lost his brother in the attacks nine years ago and who is running in the New York City Marathon on Sunday to fundraise for Tuesdays Children. Today, Jim serves the organzation as a mentor to a child who lost a parent on September 11, 2001.
