Always strongly influenced by zeitgeist, Anna McCraney, the winner of the first season of Bravo's "The Fashion Show," takes inspiration from her teenage self, drawing from a more upbeat, late twentieth century interpretation of future culture. From the early influences of Blondie's "the Rapture" and the B-52's and their "Song For A Future Generation," humor has always played a roll in her work, reminding her never to take life too seriously. In this collection, Anna takes risks with color, texture, and print, introducing a child-like playfulness while still maintaining the wearable sophistication that is her signature.
